Our Trip To Valley Forge

I am so lucky to live in an area that is rich with American history. Valley Forge is an amazing national park, filled with amazing scenery. The last time I was there we walked the whole perimeter of the park which is over five miles. This time was a day date for my fiance and I.  A picnic in the park for the 4th of July weekend, just the two of us.

Because we weren’t walking the whole park and it was a date, I wore this long flowy maxi skirt by LuLaRoe called a Lucy and a simple white t-shirt to keep the heat off and not to take away from the beautiful pattern in the skirt. I kept it simple that day because of the heat and we were outside.

The skirt was amazing in the 90-degree weather, although long with two layers it wasn’t hot at all. I love the pattern on this skirt too, the yellow’s mixed in with the different pink tones and reds. The elastic waistband has a nice triangle print, too. It just worked well for the day and the scenery. I just can’t get over this skirt and I want more like it!

Going to this amazing historical site for the day was worth a day in the heat. I hope to bring you more scenes like this in the future of the beautiful city of Philadelphia. The structure of the city is great and great landscapes everywhere you turn.

Love you all,
