I feel like it’s been a while since I written a blog article, even though it’s only been over a week. It just feels longer than that for some reason. My goal is to write an article two to three times a week, I’ve seemed to fall into to the complete opposite and actually been delayed. You see my time has been pulled into other things and by other people. As of right now, I am setting the reset button and putting a stop to that and for the next year. I am going to spend more time relaxing and doing what I want to do versus what everyone wants me to do for them. 2018 is going to be the year of the “no” when it comes to me and others.
Last week I wore this purple long sleeve dress with a black cross section that divided into fourths. It’s a great casual dress to wear everyday with soft, light heather purple knit. It is quite thin and easy to move in the dress. It was getting cold here in New Jersey so I paired it with some grey leggings, a peacoat, and some black booties. When I need to keep my legs warm and I do not want to wear tights or knee socks I”ll put leggings on. It works just as well, and also dresses down and keep an outfit casual. Which is great for when you do not want to look extra while out and about. In suburban areas that can happen a lot more often then in city areas.
I got this dress at Plug Fashions, it only cost $15.99 which is a steal. Right now you can get 10% off your order when you spend $5.00 or 20% off when you spend $20.00 or more; just use the coded jerseyfashion10 (for 10%) or jerseyfashion20 (for 20%). They also have a wheel that you can spin and get 5, 10, or 20% for a one time use only. Do vist the sight because they are always updating their inventory.
I absolutely love this outfit on you, and I’m not just saying that, I promise.
I’m not usually caught wearing a dress. And in fact I tuck my dresses into pants so they look like shirts. But I think I might consider giving this look a try (when I get some money hahaha)
And do whatever keeps you happy and on your grind, girl. If you want to prioritize your blog, then do it! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too!! Dresses are hard in the winter, especially in sub-freezing temperatures. Usually, I stick pants during the winter. In order to wear dress, I’ve been wearing really thick tights, tights and knee high socks, or legging to keep warm.

If I weat a dress in the winter, there’s no snow on the ground, and it’s not too cold I tend to forgo pants. I’m also crazy and was born in Alaska and currently living in Washington so that might explain why! Hahaha
