Winter Outfit of 2018

So before it starts warming up completely I’ve decided to show one last winter outfit. I know we are all yearning for spring. I think this week the northeast coast will start experiencing spring weather and the plants are going to start showing their colors again. This will make for even better photos for you all, I am so excited!!

So after the last Nor’easter came, I decided to take a walk and photograph some of the landscape where I live with some snowfall on the ground. Snowfall always looks beautiful so might-as-well take advantage of it. I wore what I have been wearing all winter long this season: sweater, jeans, a flannel shirt, and rain boots. I just realize this week I really don’t own that many pants, mostly jeans, I am going to have to invest in some this month and the next. Right now, I am trying to budget my clothes and accessories shopping. I am one of those bloggers that just don’t have that type of money coming in that I can buy clothes once-a-week.  Maybe that will change soon.

Once again I had to wear rain boots because the snow was melting all over the place. Lucky I did wear waterproof boots because while on my walk someone, decided that it was okay to drive along the walking path and it smeared one giant mud mixed with water on top. Plus, I wanted to walk off the path in the snow for a while, too. You will see me wear a lot of rain boots coming this spring too when it rains almost practically every day.

I just slipped on this chunky sweater and this flannel shirt I had for years now. I will link similar sweaters down below for you all if you are interested in getting a sweater the same color as mine. I feel that chunky sweaters and flannel shirts will never go out of style. I did have on a coat while I was walking but took it off because it started to warm up. I was so glad, it allowed me to enjoy taking these pictures. I’ve been getting feedback from you all and you mention you like it when I smile. In the future I will try to smile more in my photos, it’s just so difficult to remember when you are trying to take the picture of yourself by yourself.

Let me know what you think, and drop a comment below.

Love you all,

Valerie (a.k.a Jersey Girl)
